I'm a writer and creative strategist from Victoria, British Columbia, where I live with my husband, James, and our three young boys.
Since 2016, I've had the privilege of writing with a wonderful editorial team at Seattle-based Compendium Inc. Together, we've created greeting cards, gift books, and other thoughtful products sold by thousands of retailers across North America.
My work celebrates friendship, partnership, family, courage, hope, self-belief, and the everyday experiences that make life sparkle.
I'm inspired by the landscape of the Pacific Northwest, and the whimsy and imagination of children's books (Rupert Bear is a favourite). I write for grown-ups and kids alike, with a particular fondness for the kind of language that feels natural to say out loud: affectionate without being overly sentimental, and sincere without taking itself too seriously.
